I'd take any of that list over the useless cunt Bilic. Even fucking Moyes.

Re: Bilic resigns board rejects resignation
I reckon Moyes will be back at Everton within 2 weeks.

I can't see anyone decent wanting to work under this board as someone said that's probably why we ended up with a lower choice in Bilic this time around.

"proven Premiership managers".......
Apart from them being clueless and having learnt nothing despite being involved in football for over 20 years, this would also prove their real intent which only survival.
They must be the most inept unambitious owners in the league.

No one could do a good job at sunderland , people are to quick to forgwet the job he done at Everton for 10 years.

Top 6 most years, and we have a bigger budget..

Give him a chance till the end of next year

Re: Bilic resigns board rejects resignation
Pardew - had his day
Benitez - hate the mug but he's effective
Koeman - looks shot to bits, too much of a risk
Bielsa - ok
Moyes - not good enough
Pellegrini - ok
AVB - ok
Howe - ok
Dyche - like him but too much like Allardyce
Jokanovic - no

Big club aspirations - Ancelotti
perm survival only - any of the above

Guess who'll get the job..

Re: Bilic resigns board rejects resignation
We just had a 2 week international break, they had time then but done fuck all. Get someone in now and they will have time to identify what players they need in January.

That's just how Glen Roeder got the job.

*looks forward to 7th finish*

Re: Bilic resigns board rejects resignation
Westley in now.

Would ask and interview and take anyone of:

Pardew
Benitez
Koeman
Bielsa
Moyes
Pellegrini
AVB
Howe
Dyche
Jokanovic

If Westley does well enough over 6 games, considering keeping him in there.

Re: Bilic resigns board rejects resignation
It’s 48 hours later and still we haven’t sacked him. What we waiting for, it’s footballing suicide doing anything else.

Re: Bilic resigns board rejects resignation
The berks ideal solution will be to put Westley in as a caretaker hope he does well then install him full-time. Cheap cheap cheap

Re: Bilic resigns board rejects resignation
So if rumours are true and they won’t sack Bilic because they can’t find a better replacement then that is bollocks.

Does that mean Leicester who are better run than us will have trouble finding their new man?

What a fucking shambles.

If anyone from the club read these sites, do your job or fuck off.

nychammer 5:29 Sun Oct 22
Re: Bilic resigns board rejects resignation
Anyone short term. Having him there is the problem we need a clean break.

longford 5:24 Sun Oct 22
Re: Bilic resigns board rejects resignation
think we all agree his time is up... but who do we get in ??

pointless sacking him , and have no one lined up to replace him.

hopefully theyre working on that now

Re: Bilic resigns board rejects resignation
If indeed Billic has gone/is going IMO we should use 1 of 2 options -

a. Redknapp as interim manager with a successor nominated and a timescale plan for his takeover. If nothing else Redknapp will motivate players and keep us up then the succession plan will take over.

b. Offer Carlo Ancelotti 'what he want's' to come in (given he would want to) give him the funds, give him autonomy and let him manage.

But - again - it depends purely on our aspirations as a football club, is it success through results and trophies or a + in the profit loss spreadsheet.

Sadly, I think we know the answer..
